Britcar Snetterton Preview

NGMSport are back in action this bank holiday weekend with a trip out to East Anglia supporting the Holden Autosport Ariel Atom. Sunday will see the team prepping Nick Holdens car in the latest round of the Britcar British Endurance Championship at Snetterton.

The car has seen some new upgrades designed and fitted by the team since their podium at the last round at Donington keeping everyone hopeful of a good result in the Norfolk countryside.

With what could be the largest grid of the year so far the Atom will be up against front running Britcar regulars such as the Rapier SR2 and the FF Corse Ferrari 458 Challenge whilst in its own class will face challenges from an Aston Martin GT4 and BMW E46 GTR.

Snetterton will mark the midway point of the season and finds NGMSport in a strong position in the championship holding second place overall just 12 points behind the FF Corse Ferrari of Mason and Lockie and with a slim single point advantage over the third place pairing of Martin Short and Richard Neary. With Short and Neary not competing in this round there is a good opportunity to consolidate second place whilst keeping the championship favourites in sight.

There will be no lie in for the team on Sunday as qualifying kicks off at 9am with the 90 minute races starting at 11:30 and 15:45.
